REPLACING THE HEADLIGHT BULB

1. Remove:
• Front cover assembly
• Headlight cowling assembly
Refer "GENERAL CHASSIS" on page 4-8.
2. Disconnect:
• Headlight bulb coupler "1"
3. Remove:
• Dust cover "2"
• Clip lock "3"
4. Remove:
• Headlight bulb "4"
WARNING
Since the headlight bulb gets extremely hot,
keep flammable products and your hands
away from the bulb until it has cooled down.
ELECTRICAL
5. Install:
• Headlight bulb
Secure the new headlight bulb with the head-
light bulb holder.
Avoid touching the glass part of the head-
light bulb to keep it free from oil, otherwise
the transparency of glass, the life of the bulb
and the luminous flux will be adversely af-
fected. If the headlight bulb gets soiled, thor-
oughly clean it with a cloth moistened with
alcohol or lacquer thinner.
6. Install:

• Clip lock
• Dust cover
7. Connect:
• Headlight bulb coupler
8. Install:
• Headlight cowling assembly
• Front cover assembly

ADJUSTING THE HEADLIGHT BEAM

1. Remove:
• Front upper cover

Refer "GENERAL CHASSIS" on page 4-8.
2. Adjust:
• Headlight beam (vertically)
a. Turn the headlight beam adjusting screw
"1" in "a" or "b".
