Intended Use
The dowel jig is used to drill cantered holes in sizes 6, 8, 10, 11 and 12 mm for
wooden dowels in the edge of a board or similar component with a width of 10
to 51 mm. The jig centres itself automatically when it is put on.

Operation

Four holes are made in the black middle part of the dowel jig. There are two
threaded holes for inserting drill bushings and two cylinder holes with 11 to 12
mm diameter. The drill bushings with an inner diameter of 6, 8 or 10 mm can
be screwed into the threaded holes. Two bushings can be used to drill holes
next to each other.
Prepare the dowel jig by inserting the appropriate drill bushings, if necessary,
and fix the dowel jig at the desired location on the edge of the component to
be drilled by tightening the clamping screw. The dowel jig centres itself
automatically. Then drill the holes to the desired depth. Be careful not to tilt
the drill. Tilting the drill can break it and lead to serious injuries!
Cleaning
 Blow off residues from the dowel jig with compressed air or clean the dowel
jig with a stiff brush and a slightly dampened cloth. If necessary, protect the
dowelling jig from corrosion with a little oil.
 To avoid damaging the surfaces, do not use any harsh chemicals or
abrasives.
