Warranty and liability
Webasto shall not assume liability for defects or damages that
are the result of disregarding the installation and operating in-
structions. This liability exclusion particularly applies to:
l Installation by untrained personnel.
l Improper use.
l Repairs not carried out by a Webasto service workshop.
l Use of non-genuine parts.
l Conversion of the unit without permission from Webasto.
l Mechanical damage to the equipment.
l Non-compliance with inspection and maintenance instruc-
tions.

Safety
2.1
Intended use
The FS 2500XXL is an electrically operated marine folding shade
system for comfort purposes. The FS 2500XXL is designed for
use on motor and sailing yachts.
2.2
Safety information
Description
Keep all bodily parts and/or obstructions
away from the opening to prevent injury
when closing the folding shade.

Close the shading system at:
- Speeds above 30 knots (kts)
- A sea state of more than 1 meter (m)
- At wind speeds over 16 knots (kts) / 4 Beaufort
(4 Bft)

Risk of damage due to snow load

Keep the shading system closed and free from
snow.
