INSTALLING CPU

This mainboard supports the Pentium II CPU using Single Edge Contact (SEC) slot and Socket 370.
Slot 1
To install the CPU, flatten the two latches on the side of the CPU, insert the CPU into the
retention clip. Lock the two latches to secure the CPU. Insert the clip portion of the CPU
supporter so that the heat sink can sit on top of the whole CPU supporter.
Socket 370
Match pin 1 of the CPU with pin 1 of the CPU socket. The pin 1 corner of the CPU socket is
designated by a small triangle printed on the motherboard. Carefully insert the CPU into the
CPU socket and move the metal arm downward to replace it in its original position.
