AUX (optional)

Depending on the equipment fitted in the vehicle,
a 3.5mm stereo jack socket may be located in the
storage compartment in the centre tunnel. This
can be used to connect an external sound source
(AUX):
Important
AUX is only available in combination with the
universal multimedia interface.
Important
Risk of unintentional high volume!
Headphone outputs from external sound sources
have a very low volume level. If the CDR30 is
therefore set to a very high volume to compensate
this may lead to unintentionally loud volume if
another sound source is activated, or if a traffic
announcement is broadcasted.
f Therefore the LINE-OUT output on the external
source should be used instead of using the
headphone output as this will ensure an
appropriate volume level (LINE level).
If the device does not have a LINE-OUT output:
f Switch off Traffic Announcements.
f Reduce the volume on the CDR30 before
activating another sound source.
