B. THE HELMET

4. CHIN CURTAIN

The chin curtain reduces air intrusion and unpleasant effect of the wind
created when you ride by flowing into the helmet. This feature allows to
also reduce the riding noises (such as wind, motor, track...).
The fit at the bottom of the helmet is extremely important to make the
helmet as quiet as possible. Even with the chin curtain, we recommend
you wear a balaclava.
REMOVING THE CHIN CURTAIN
1. The chin curtain is attached on the
chin portion by 4 "arrow snaps".
To remove the chin curtain, take one
side of the chin curtain pull gently
upward to disengage the plastic arrow
snap.
INSTALLING THE CHIN CURTAIN
1. Insert the 4 "arrow snaps" of the chin
curtain into their specific housing on the
chin portion.
2. Press one by one on the plastic
arrow snap to be sure each one is
engage in the chin plastic strip housing
as shown.
WARNING
Do not carry or hold the helmet by the chin curtain. The chin curtain may
come off, causing the helmet to drop.
