Thank you for selecting the Dualie® 2AA, a truly remarkable portable light. As with any professional tool, reasonable care and maintenance of this product will provide years of dependable service. Please read these instructions before using your Dualie® 2AA. It includes important safety and operating guidelines and should be saved.

GENERAL OPERATION

The Dualie® 2AA model features a forward facing LED spot beam and a side facing LED flood light that can be used individually or at the same time for location identification.

  • Opposing head switches for easy identification and operation.
  • Use Spot LED push button head switch for momentary or constant operation.
  • Use Flood LED or Laser Pointer push button head switch for on/off operation.

GENERAL OPERATION

BATTERY INSTALLATION/REMOVAL


Do not open in a hazardous area. Use only 1.5V size "AA" batteries. (See Addendum for allowable batteries.) Replace all batteries at t he same time in fresh air only. Do not mix batteries from different manufacturers. Improper battery installation can cause the batteries to explode or leak and cause personal injury. Do not mix battery type or new with used batteries. Observe the polarity during installation.

  • Use provided wrench to loosen facecap locking screw until it stops. (ATEX models only).
  • Unscrew the facecap a quarter of a turn, slide the face cap forward and remove the depleted batteries.
  • Insert 2 fresh batteries into the barrel. (observe polarity)
    BATTERY INSTALLATION/REMOVAL
  • Place the facecap onto the barrel and rotate to find the point it will slide into the barrel shoulder. Tighten a quarter of a turn until the facecap locks in place (ribs will be aligned).
  • Tighten facecap locking screw. Do notovertighten screw. (ATEX models only).

APPROVALS

This Streamlight Inc. product has been tested and approved for use in Potentially Explosive Atmospheres (see product for specific ratings). This approval is only valid when the apparatus is used and maintained in accordance with the accompanying instructions and only within the marked product class or category shown. You, the user, are responsible for the correct application of this product.

MAINTENANCE AND SERVICE

To maintain safety ratings periodically inspect housing, lenses, and gasket for any damage or excessive wear that could effect ingress protection. Clean flashlight exterior with a clean, damp cloth and mild detergent. Do not use solvents.


Remove flashlight from service if any part of the enclosure is missing or broken.

Use only Genuine Streamlight replacement parts. Substitution of components may impair intrinsic safety.

STREAMLIGHT'S LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY

Streamlight warrants this product to be free of defects for a lifetime of use except for batteries and bulbs, abuse and normal wear. We will repair, replace or refund the purchase price of this product should we determine it to be defective. This limited lifetime warranty also excludes rechargeable batteries, chargers, switches and electronics which have a 2 year warranty with proof of purchase. THIS IS THE ONLY WARRANTY, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ANY WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR SPECIAL DAMAGES ARE EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMED EXCEPT WHERE SUCH LIMITATION IS PROHIBITED BY LAW.
