INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
• These inst ruct ions are for a st andard double- hung
window. You will need t o modify t hem for ot her
t ypes of windows.
• The air condit ioner can be inst alled wit hout t he
side curt ain panels if needed t o fit in a narrow
window. See t he window opening dimensions.
• All support ing part s must be secured t o firm
wood, masonry or met al.
• The elect rical out let must be wit hin reach of t he
power cord.
• Follow t he dimensions in t he t able and illust rat ion
for your model.

A st orm window frame will not allow t he air
condit ioner t o t ilt t oward t he out side, and will keep
it from draining properly. To adjust for t his, at t ach a
piece of wood t o t he sill.
WIDTH: 2
LENGTH: Long enough t o fit inside t he window
frame.
THICKNESS: To det ermine t he t hickness, place
t han t he t op of t he st orm window frame or t he vinyl
frame.

A. Inst all t he t op mount ing rail wit h 4 Type A screws
Top Mount ing rail
B. Slide t he side curt ain panels int o t he side panel rails.
C. For model ESAQ406, cut and apply a weat her
st rip t o side of t he curt ain frame (one each side).
D. Slide left and right side curt ain frames int o t op and
bot t om rails. Make sure t hat side curt ains snap int o
side of t he frames.
