Installation Instructions
Step 1: After you disassemble the dashboard and before you pull the radio out, open the radio face. With the
navigation unit ON, press the "Change Map Coverage" option under the "Nav" menu and eject the navigation
disc, this will open the radio face and eject the navigation disk, put the disk aside, be careful not to scratch the
disk, and disconnect the connectors on the back of the radio so that radio screen stays open.
Step 2: Remove the headunit and place it on a flat surface, workbench would be the most suitable. Remove
the small Philips screw on each side of the display. Remove the display from the navigation unit but don't pull
on it as you still need to disconnect the flex ribbon cable in the next step.
