First steps

Inserting / changing batteries

The instrument is switched off.

1 Open the battery compartment (on the back of the instrument) via the
snap lock.
2 Insert or replace batteries (3 x AA
batteries).
Observe the polarity!
3 Close the battery compartment.
When not in use for a long period: Take out the (rechargeable)
batteries.
Symbol explanation
Do not allow children under 6 years of age to play with batteries.
Do not throw batteries in the trash.
Do not charge batteries.
Do not place batteries near fire.
Batteries are recyclable.
