Rear surface mount:
Step 1. Run the cable of the light head through the center hole of the
stud mounting bracket. The countersunk holes and studs should be
facing away from the light head. Secure the stud mounting bracket
to the light head using the two M2.5x10mm flathead screws (not
shown). See Figure 4.
Step 2. Using the short gasket as a template, mark two holes on a
flat mounting surface for stud insertion, and a third center hole for
cable routing. Drill the two stud through holes using a 4.5mm or #16
bit. Drill the center hole using a 9mm or T-bit. See Figure 5.
Step 3. Run the cable of the light head through the short gasket.
Feed the cable through the center drilled hole in the mounting
surface. Mount the assembly to the surface using the two M4 flange
locknuts (not shown). Tighten to 10 in-lbs max torque. See Figure 6.
