STEP 3
Assemble The Top Frame
3.1 Assemble the top frame using 3 1/2" x 3 1/2" pressure-treated material. You will need two
boards cut to 10'-6"' that will be the rim joist and three boards cut to 3'-5"' that will be the joist.
3.2 Use 4 1/2 " x 4 1/2 " x 1/2 " corner braces and 8x1" wood screws to secure the corners.
3.3 Using a speed square or carpenter's square, check the corners to make sure they are 90 degrees.
