Link display on the optical ports
Devices with optical ports support "Far-end fault" at the optical ports. This function is, however,
not used for the corresponding link display. If only the receive direction is plugged in, a "far end
fault" is detected and no data is forwarded. The port LED is already lit.
Device defective
If a fault develops, send the device to your SIEMENS service center for repair. Repairs on-site are
not possible.
