When connecting power to the MicroLYNX, ensure the following:

At least 18 gauge wire is used for the MicroLYNX-
4, 16 gauge for the MicroLYNX-7.
+V and GND are not reversed.
All connections are tight.
Shielded twisted pair cabling is used, with at
least 1 twist per inch.
