Y62DC Configuration and Settings

The Y62DC supports a wide range of configurable preferences that can be used to capture
information, and configure the device to your specification. Y62DC configuration parameters are
accessed using the 'Preferences' tab (for the G4 connect app), or the 'Config' tab (for Internet
Explorer View IPC interface).
The 'Preferences'/ 'Config' tab divides Y62DC device settings into four functional categories:
Basic Setup – used to configure general device parameters including identifiers (vehicle

and operator), time settings, startup behaviour, networking details, and microphone
settings.
Surveillance – used to configure the particulars of how data is recorded including; image

quality and recording settings, data storage settings, and how the data may be shared.
Collection – used to configure the behaviour of sensors.

Alarm – used to configure and define the behaviour of alarms.

Accelerometer Calibration

After the Y62DC is installed in your vehicle, the built-in accelerometer must be calibrated.
Calibration will 'zero' the built-in accelerometer to ensure that the sensor is collecting data
accurately. To calibrate the accelerometer, go to:
