VEHICLES EQUIPPED WITH AIR BAGS
An air bag in flates with great force. D O NOT p lace objects,

bag or in th e air bag d ep loym en t area. If th e com m u n ication s
eq u ip m en t is in stalled im p rop erly an d th e air bag in flates, th is
can cau se seriou s in ju ry.
In stallation of veh icle com m u n ication eq u ip m en t sh ou ld be
p erform ed by a p rofession al in staller/ tech n ician q u alified in th e
req u irem en ts for su ch in stallation s.
An air bag's size, sh ap e an d d ep loym en t area can vary by veh icle m ake,
m od el an d fron t com p artm en t con figu ration (e.g., ben ch seat vs.
bu cket seats). Con tact th e veh icle m an u factu rer's corp orate
h ead q u arters, if n ecessary, for sp ecific air bag in form ation for th e
veh icle m ake, m od el an d fron t com p artm en t con figu ration in volved
in you r com m u n ication eq u ip m en t in stallation .
