When a problem occurs with the monitor...

In such a case, refer to the following.
Nothing is displayed...
Symptom
Nothing is displayed
on the screen.
The image on the
screen disappeared.

The lifespan of the backlight used in the monitor may end.
Check for HDCP (High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection) content. HDCP is a system for preventing illegal copying of video
data sent over a digital signal. If you are unable to view material via the digital inputs, this does not necessarily mean that the
monitor is not functioning properly. With the implementation of HDCP, there may be cases in which certain content is protected
by HDCP and might not be shown due to the decision/intention of the HDCP community (Digital Content Protection, LLC).
Condition
The power indicator is off
In the OSD menu, [Setup]
-> [Other Settings] -> [LED
Indicator] is set to [On]
The power indicator is lit
blue
The power indicator is lit
a color other than blue or
it is flashing.
The screen, on which
the image was correctly
displayed, turned black,
started to blink, or did not
display anything.*
Cause and solution
Check that the power cord is properly connected.
Use another device to check that power is correctly supplied
to the outlet.
A terminal with no signal input may be selected. Press the
input switch button to select a different input terminal.
Open the OSD menu and check the following settings.
● If the OSD menu does not open, the monitor may be
malfunctioning.
Contact your supplier.
● If the OSD menu opens properly, the monitor is not
malfunctioning. Adjust [Backlight / Brightness] and
[Contrast] in the [Video] settings.
● If the image is not displayed after adjusting [Backlight /
Brightness] and [Contrast] in the OSD menu, check that
the connected device operates correctly. If the monitor is
connected to a computer, check the frequency, resolution,
and type of output signal on the computer.
The monitor automatically goes into standby at the preset
time period after the video signal is lost. Press the power on
button on the remote control or press the
monitor.
Check that the signal cable is correctly connected to the
input and output terminals of the monitor and the connected
device.
Check that the power adaptor is properly connected.
Check that the connected computer or video device is turned
on.
The LCD panel needs to be replaced. Contact your supplier.
