The 360˚ Water Alarm has a patented design which allows it to detect water and sound the alarm when
placed on any side. If water reaches any two of the metal pads located on each corner, an audible alarm sounds
to alert of a leak or potential water damage. The 360˚ Water Alarm can be completely submerged in water.
Installing the battery
The 360˚ Water Alarm is battery operated and does not need to be plugged into an outlet. You will need a Philips screwdriver, flat
screwdriver, and a new 9V battery.
1. Using a Philips screwdriver, remove the screw in the battery
cover located on the side of the water alarm.
2. Using a flat head screwdriver, remove the battery cover.
3. Pull the wires out and snap the 9V battery onto the
connector.
4. Place the battery back in the compartment.
To ensure waterproof closure of the battery cover, please
follow the pictures at right.
5. Insert bottom of battery cover

7. Tighten the screw
Testing the water alarm
8. After installing the battery, make sure to test the water
alarm by touching any adjacent two metal pads with your
fingers. An audible alarm will sound as long as you keep
both fingers on the metal pads. We recommend testing the
water alarm every 6 months to ensure the battery is still
good, and replacing the battery as needed.
Positioning the water alarm
The water alarm should be placed anywhere there is a risk
of water leak such as under sink, washing machine or water
heater. It can be placed on any side and will still sound an alarm when water is present.
Replacing the battery
Replace the 9V battery if the alarm has operated for an extended period of time or if the battery
expiration date is approaching. You may want to mark the battery expiration date on a piece of
tape and attach it to the water alarm when you install the battery.
La alarma de agua 360˚ tiene un diseño patentado que le permite detectar agua y hacer sonar la alarma cuando se coloca sobre
cualquier lado. Si el agua llega a dos de las almohadillas de metal ubicadas en cada esquina, suena una alarma para alertar sobre
una fuga o un posible daño por agua. La alarma de agua 360˚ se puede sumergir completamente en agua.
Instalación de la batería
La alarma de agua 360˚ funciona con batería y no necesita enchufarse a un tomacorriente. Necesitará un destornillador Philips, un
destornillador plano y una batería nueva de 9 V.
1. Con un destornillador Philips, retire el tornillo de la tapa de la batería ubicada al lado de la alarma de agua.
2. Con un destornillador de cabeza plana, retire la tapa de la batería.
3. Saque los cables y coloque la batería de 9 V en el conector.
4. Coloque la batería en el compartimento.
Para garantizar el cierre impermeable de la tapa de la batería, siga las imágenes de arriba.
5. Inserte la parte inferior de la tapa de la batería
6. Cierre la parte superior de la tapa de la batería
7. Apriete el tornillo
Prueba de la alarma de agua
8. Después de instalar la batería, asegúrese de probar la alarma de agua tocando dos almohadillas adyacente de metal con los
dedos. Sonará una alarma siempre que mantenga ambos dedos sobre las almohadillas de metal. Recomendamos probar la
alarma de agua cada 6 meses para asegurarse de que la batería aún esté en buen estado y reemplazar la batería según sea
necesario.
Ubicación de la alarma de agua
La alarma de agua debe colocarse en cualquier lugar donde exista riesgo de fuga de agua, como debajo del fregadero, de la lavado-
ra o del calentador de agua. Se puede colocar sobre cualquier lado y seguirá sonando una alarma cuando haya agua.
Reemplazo de la batería
Reemplace la batería de 9 V si la alarma ha funcionado durante un tiempo prolongado o si se acerca la fecha de vencimiento de la
batería. Le sugerimos que marque la fecha de vencimiento de la batería en un trozo de cinta adhesiva y que la peque a la alarma de
agua cuando instale la batería.
