Replacing the Optical Drive

CAUTION:

This procedure assumes that you have completed the removal procedure
"Removing the Optical Drive" on page 91.
1 Connect the optical drive cable to the connector on the system board.
2 Replace the M2 x 5-mm screw to secure the optical drive to the system
board.
3 Replace the palm rest (see "Replacing the Palm Rest" on page 81).
4 Replace the display assembly (see "Replacing the Display Assembly" on
page 67).
5 Replace the keyboard (see "Replacing the Keyboard" on page 58).
