Faults
The appliance is not filling
with water.
Detergent/fabric softener

Cause/Remedy
Programme does not start?

Is the tap turned on?
■
Could the filter in the water supply be blocked?
■

Is the supply hose kinked or trapped?

Is the appliance filled with water?
■
Is detergent/fabric softener congealed in the dispenser(s)?
■
Is the Ž i-DOS pump unit blocked? Emptying the
■
dispenser(s)~ Page 38, pour about 50°C water into the dispenser(s). Do
not fill the dispensers above the max. mark, and soaking for about 1 hour,
then empty the dispenser(s) and pour detergent/fabric softener again.
If you cannot rectify the fault yourself, please call customer services.
Have you touched the Start/Reload/Pause button or selected Ready in?

Is the door closed?
■
Childproof lock activated? Deactivate childproof lock.

Shop mode activated? If the display shows à•‹ for 5 s after you have
■
switched on the appliance, the appliance is in shop mode. Wait for the dis-
play message à•‹ to disappear. Touch and hold Start/Reload/Pause
for at least 5 s. ‹"" will appear in the display panel. Turn the programme
selector to Off. Now you already turned off the shop mode. You can use
the appliance now as usual.
Not a fault – Some programme specifically detect and weigh the load after the
programme has started in order to calculate the optimum amount of water for
washing. The drum will then start filling with water.
ù is continuously lit. The detergent drawer has not been pushed in fully. Push
the detergent drawer in fully.
Could the drain pump be blocked?

Not a fault – the water is below the visible area.
Is automatic dosing an option for the programme?

Is the pump unit blocked? Turn the programme selector to Off and clean

the pump unit.
Empty the dispenser(s), clean it/them and pour in the correct product.
