4 Switches the paper source
Select during printing to print the next page from the selected paper source. If there is no paper
loaded in either paper source, select to display the Paper Setting screen.
5 Displays the amount of ink remaining in the ink cartridges
The abbreviation below each bar indicates the ink color.
PK: Photo Black
MK: Matte Black
Y: Yellow
M: Magenta
C: Cyan
GY: Gray (SureColor P8570D)
R: Red (SureColor T7770D)
When is displayed, the corresponding ink cartridge is running low. Tap the display area to
check the ink cartridge model number.
6 Displays the amount of space remaining in the borderless maintenance boxes
When is displayed, the corresponding box is almost full. Tap the display area to check the
borderless maintenance box model number.
7 Displays the amount of space remaining in the maintenance box
When is displayed, the maintenance box is almost full. Tap the display area to check the
maintenance box model number.
8 Paper release icon
Releases Roll 1 (upper) or Roll 2 (lower) for removal (important for clearing paper jams; disabled
during paper feeding or printing).
