Faults and the after-sales service

Malfunctions often have simple explanations. Please read the following notes before calling the aftersales
service.
Fault
The door panel
steams up when the
oven is hot.
The flame (oven) does
not burn through all
outlet openings.
The appliance does
not work.
All dishes that are
prepared in the oven
become burnt very
quickly.
The oven lighting has
failed.
Repairs may only be carried out by fully trained after-sales service engineers.
If your appliance is not repaired professionally, you may be exposing yourself to substantial risks.

Causes possibles / solutions
• Normal occurrence; caused by the difference in temperature.
− Not possible; this has no effect on oven performance.
• Normal build-up of dirt.
− The burner must be professionally cleaned.
• Defective circuit breaker.
− Look in the fuse box and check that the circuit breaker for the appliance is in
working order.
• Power cut.
− Check whether the kitchen light works, for example.
• Thermostat faulty.
− Call the after-sales service.
• Oven light is faulty
− Replace the oven light. (see section "Replacing oven light")
