CARE AND CLEANING

Exterior:
The outside m ay be cleaned w ith m ild soap and w arm w ater, w ipe clean w ith a dam p cloth. Avoid the
use of harsh abrasive cleaners.
Door:
Wipe the door and w indow on both sides and the door seals frequently w ith a dam p cloth to rem ove any
spills or spatters. Do not use abrasive cleaner.
Touch Control Panel
Care should be taken in cleaning the touch control panel. Open the oven door before cleaning to
inactivate the control panel. Wipe the panel w ith a cloth dam pened slightly w ith w ater only.
Do not scrub or use any sort of chem ical cleaners. Avoid the use of excess w ater.
Interior w alls:
To clean the interior surfaces, w ipe w ith a soft cloth and w arm w ater. After use w ipe the w aveguide
cover in the oven w ith a soft dam p cloth to rem ove any food splashes. Do not rem ove the w aveguide

Avoid using excess w ater. After cleaning the oven, ensure any w ater is rem oved w ith a soft cloth.
Turntable/ Roller Stay:
Wash w ith m ild soapy w ater and dry thoroughly.

SERVICE CALL CHECK

Please check the follow ing before calling for service:
1. When the door is opened, does the oven lam p com e on?
2. Place one cup of w ater (approx. 250 m l) in a glass m easure in the oven and close the door securely.
Oven lam p should go off if door is closed properly. Press the INSTANT COOK/START pad once.
A. Does the oven lam p light?
B. Does the cooling fan w ork?
(Put your hand over the rear ventilation openings.)
C. Does the turntable rotate?
(The turntable can rotate clockw ise or anticlockw ise. This is quite norm al.)
D. After one m inute, did an audible signal sound and COOK
indicator go off?
E. Is the w ater inside the oven hot?
If " NO" is the answ er to any of the above questions, please check your w all socket and the fuse in your
m eter box.
If both the w all socket and the fuse are functioning properly, CONTACT YOUR NEAREST SERVICE
CENTRE APPROVED BY SHARP.
NOTE: If tim e in the display is counting dow n rapidly, check Dem onstration M ode.
