Battery Gauge
The high voltage battery gauge appears
on the right-hand side of the message
center. This provides battery charge level,
range estimate and regenerative braking
information.
Charge Level
The charge level for the high voltage
battery is shown as a colored bar. This is
normally blue, except when the battery
charge is low and the color changes to
amber. When the battery has run out of
charge the color changes to red. See
Information Messages (page 13).

Distance to Empty
The range estimate in the battery gauge
will change depending upon which driver
key is used. This is an estimated distance
you can travel on the current charge level.
Your driving behavior will influence the
range estimate. This includes your use of
accessories such as climate control. Your
range estimate may change immediately
when you change your climate control
settings.
