  • Page 15: Fan Speed Adjustment

Compact P / Compact P Polar (English) BY NILAN Fan speed adjustment Stepless adjustment between 20% and 100% is available for the four fan speeds. It is also possible to adjust supply air (inlet air) and extract air (outlet air) separately, which is a great advantage when balancing the ventilation system.
  • Page 16: Humidity Control

Humidity control The unit has a built-in humidity control to control the ventilation relative to the average humidity, in order to maintain a good relative humidity in the house. If the average humidity in the house is below a set level (factory setting 30%), it is possible to reduce the ventilation to avoid further drying of humidity in the house.
  • Page 17: Settings Active Cooling

Compact P / Compact P Polar (English) BY NILAN Settings active cooling Depending on architecture, the home may require cooling during the summertime. Compact P has an integral heat pump, primarily used for production of domestic hot water. The heat pump has a reversible cooling cycle, and in the summer time it is able to cool the supply air while simultaneously producing domestic hot water.
  • Page 18 Prioritisation sequence in the control system: 1. Userprogram 2 and 1 with high priority for ventilation Userprogram 2 2. High ventilation in connection with cooling Userprogram 1 3. Low ventilation in connection with low outdoor air level (accessory) temperature Manually set values 4.
  • Page 19: Ventilation At Times Of Low Outdoor Air Temperature

Compact P / Compact P Polar (English) BY NILAN Ventilation at times of low outdoor air temperature It is possible to prevent low humidity in the home by reducing ventilation in case of low outdoor temperatures. This function is particularly useful in countries with heavy frosts and at high altitudes where the outdoor air is very dry.
  • Page 20: Co 2 Control

control ATTENTION A CO sensor is not standard in all units, but may be purchased as an accessory. If the occupancy varies greatly, it may be better to control ventilation by the CO -level in the extract air. This function is often used in offices and schools where loadings vary greatly during the day and from week to week.
  • Page 21: After Heating Element

Compact P / Compact P Polar (English) BY NILAN After heating element ATTENTION The after heating element is not standard, but can be purchased as an accessory. If it is wished to control the air inlet temperature, it will be necessary to fit an after heating element. An after heating element allows you to control the supply air temperature, regardless of the outdoor temperature.
