Working with Entries in the Telephone Book

Adding a new entry
Use these steps to manually create a new entry in the Telephone Book:
Dialling from the Telephone Book
To dial a number from the Telephone Book, see "Using the Telephone
Book to dial" on page 23.
To predial a number from the Telephone Book:

option, and press the
New

4. Use the dialpad to enter the phone number, and

OK
5. Use the dialpad to enter the name.

Note 1: Each phone number you store in the
Telephone Book must have a name associated with
it. The maximum length of the name is 16 characters.
Note 2: Adding an exclamation mark in front of a
Telephone Book entry indicates a VIP entry. VIP
entries can have a different melody, see "Selecting
the ringer melody" on page 54.
6. Press the
OK
7. Press the
Esc
the idle display.
