Chapter 4: Install the Driver for

the Adapter

After connecting the USB VPN & Firewall Adapter to your computer, follow

the instructions for your operating system to install the hardware device's driv-

er. If at any time during the installation you encounter problems, consult the

Troubleshooting section.

Note: Do not click Cancel at any time during the installation process

or your driver will not install correctly on your PC.

1. If you haven't already, start your computer.

2. Windows XP will automatically detect the Adapter connected to your com-

puter and display the Welcome to the Found New Hardware Wizard screen.

Select Install the software automatically (Recommended), and insert the

Setup CD into the CD-ROM drive. Then click the Next button.

3. Windows may inform you that it is searching for the driver.

4. Then, it will notify you that the driver has not passed Windows Logo test-

ing. This is normal, and it has been verified that the Adapter does work with

Windows XP. Click the Continue Anyway button.
