M2. SATA Solid State Drive (SSD)

Removing SATA SSD

Steps
1. Follow the procedure in
2. Remove the base cover.
3. Disconnect the battery cable from the connector on the system board.
4. To remove the SATA SSD:
a. Remove the M2 x 3 screw that secures the SSD [1].
b. Slide and lift the SSD to disconnect it from the connector [2].

Installing SATA SSD

Steps
1. Insert the SATA SSD card into the connector.
2. Tighten the screw to secure the SATA SSD to the system board.
3. Connect the battery cable to the connector on the system board.
4. Install the base cover.
