Intended Use This Ultra-Tow XTP Series Auto Locking Trailer Coupler features an auto-locking system with steel lock assembly. The secondary lock has a safety clip designed to fit an off-the-shelf padlock without an adaptor. This coupler can be used with any 2" ball having a capacity rating equal to or higher than the coupler.

It is the user’s responsibility to be sure the hitch tongue is capable of a 500 lbs. vertical load and a 3,500 lbs. gross trailer weight. Every time the coupler is used, make sure the ball is completely engaged in the socket and the coupler is securely locked.

Maintenance ⚠WARNING For proper performance, the following should be performed every 10,000 miles or 6 months, whichever comes first: Inspect for proper operation. Inspect, in particular, the coupling area. Replace when the wear exceeds 1/8" (.125") from the original surface profile.
