information supporting the programmable
buttons.
OPERATION
1. Hold the microphone approximately
5 cms (2 inches) from your mouth.
2. Press the push-to-talk (PTT) button.
3. Speak directly into the small opening
located in the upper right corner of the
microphone face.
4. Release the PTT to listen.
Keypad
1. Enter the digits desired through the
keypad by firmly pressing one keypad key
at a time. Each keypad press should be at
least 1/2 second duration.
Note: The minimum length of time a signal should
be sent is 1/2 second. Too short of a signal
may prevent proper digit recognition by the
system decoder.
2. Listen for the sidetone as each keypad
key is pressed. The sidetone will be
heard from the radio speaker.
