- Page 2 INTRODUCTION The MDRMN4026 Enhanced Keypad Microphone is used specifically with Professional Radios, and is not backwards compatible with other mobile radios. A direct entry keypad on the microphone provides a convenient means of transmitting standard signalling protocol used in mobile radio operation.

A summary of programmable radio features can be found in your Professional Radio user guide. Check with your dealer for more information supporting the programmable buttons. OPERATION 1. Hold the microphone approximately 5 cms (2 inches) from your mouth. 2. Press the push-to-talk (PTT) button. 3. - Page 4 (a safety hazard). Dialling while driving also reduces call reliability by promoting the chance of a weak signal due to “dead spots” or automobile/traffic noise interference. SERVICE The MDRMN4026 Enhanced Keypad Microphone is not repairable. Order replacement microphones as required.
