Description
The MDPMMN4021 and MDPMMN4027 Remote Speaker Microphones
(RSMs) provide a more convenient means of communicating by having a
speaker, a microphone, and a PTT in one small hand-held or clip-on
accessory. The MDPMMN4021 model includes a 3.5mm audio jack that
allows earbuds, earphones, and similar secondary accessories to be
plugged into the RSM.
Operation
Attaching the RSM to the Radio
To attach the RSM to the radio

Turn the radio off.

Remove the universal connector seal from the side of the
radio and attach the RSM.

Turn the radio on.
Wearing the RSM
For optimum performance from the RSM, wear the radio and RSM so that
the accessory cord will not cross over or touch the antenna. Try to wear the
radio and accessory combination fairly close to each other to avoid strain on
the accessory connector.
