Safety instructions

When using electrical equipment, basic safety precautions should always be taken to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock
and injury. These precautions include:
1. Read all instructions before using the appliance.
2. The filter is packed in a bag when delivered. Remove the plastic bag before use and when replacing the filter.
3. Keep the cord away from busy walkways so that no one trips. To avoid fire hazard, DO NOT route the cable under car-
pets, near radiators, heaters or stoves.
4. To protect against electrical hazards, DO NOT immerse the appliance in water or other liquids. Do not use the appliance
near water.
5. Supervise the appliance when it is used near children or disabled persons.
6. Always unplug the air purifier before moving or cleaning the unit, opening the cabinet, changing the filter or when the
unit will not be used for an extended period of time.
7. NEVER drop any objects into the openings of the appliance. Do not insert anything into them.
8. DO NOT operate the appliance with a damaged cord or plug or in the event of a malfunction. If the air purifier does not
work or has been damaged, please contact the seller or FeinTech for inspection and/or repair.
9. Use the appliance only for the household or office use described in this manual. Any other use may result in fire, electric
shock or injury to persons.
10. DO NOT use the appliance outdoors.
11. NEVER place the appliance on a soft surface, such as a bed or sofa, as this may cause the appliance to tip over and then
block the air inlet or outlet.
12. Keep the appliance away from heat and open flames.
13. DO NOT attempt to repair or adjust any electrical or mechanical functions of the appliance. The interior of the appliance
does not contain any user-serviceable parts. All maintenance should be carried out by an authorised professional.
14. DO NOT place any objects on top of the appliance.
15. NEVER use detergents, petrol, glass cleaner, furniture polish, paint thinner or other cleaning agents to clean any part of
the appliance.
16. Always switch off the appliance before unplugging it from the mains.
17. This appliance should only be used in rooms with temperatures between 5°C and 40°C.
18. Do not make any modifications to the unit.
