I’m confused. (Asking question in another way)………..if each breath is a bolus, why have 5 settings ? What is the difference between each setting ?

The five settings on the Drive DeVilbiss iGo2 determine the bolus (oxygen dose) delivered per breath. Each setting corresponds to a different bolus volume:

- Setting 1: 260 ml per breath
- Setting 2: 440 ml per breath
- Setting 3: 725 ml per breath
- Setting 4: 880 ml per breath
- Setting 5: 1014 ml per breath

The iGo2 delivers a fixed minute volume of oxygen, meaning as the breathing rate increases, the bolus volume per breath decreases to maintain the total oxygen delivery within the set amount per minute.

My grandmother in Lebanon is using an IGo2 portable oxygenator. I can't send u a photo because although it is only 152 kb your program won't accept it. I will try to send the photo if u send me an email and case #. She is now housebound because of this issue. When she turns it on she gets A yellow arrow pointing up and a red wrench to the right of the digit 5. We're unable to find anyone in Beirut who says they can fix it. Shipping it out of Lebanon is very expensive so we r hoping we can fix it there. Please help. This machine has really improved her mobility and now she is so sad. Thank u.

No, pulse setting 3 on the Drive DeVilbiss iGo2 does not provide 3 liters of oxygen per minute. Instead, it delivers a bolus volume of 725 ml per breath, which varies based on the user's breathing rate. At 10 breaths per minute, it provides 72.5 ml per breath, totaling approximately 0.725 liters per minute.
