Data stacks
Gas data values are stored in "stacks" with the number of data values stored by the system
corresponding to 2.5x times the short-term or long-term time horizon set by the user. This is
to enable the calculation of an accurate long-term extrapolation:
• Short term stack: XXX short horizon minutes x 2.5 /10 values
• Long term stack: XXX long horizon days x 2.5 values
The status of the stack fill is displayed in the HMI. See Figure 61 – Gas sensor information.
When there are not enough data points received to date to calculate the short or long-term
trend, then the corresponding "stack not enough" alarm flag is. See Figure 62 – Gas sensor
alarms.
The values requiring data from an uncomplete stack are not displayed in the HMI and are
replaced by a "-" instead, until the stack is fully filled.
