Seat belt reminder
WARNINGS
The seat belt reminder remains
in stand-by mode after the driver
and front passenger have fastened their
seat belt. It will be reactivated if the seat
belt is unbuckled.
Never sit on top of a buckled
seat belt to avoid the seat belt
reminder. The restraint system can
only work properly if passengers have
buckled up their seat belts.
Note: Placing objects on the front
passenger's seat when it is not occupied
may trigger the sensors in the seat and
activate the seat belt reminder if the seat
belt is not engaged.
It will illuminate when the
vehicle's speed exceeds
23 km/h and the driver's or
front passenger's seat belt is unbuckled.
The seat belt reminder will not go out
until the seat belt has been fastened.
To deactivate the seat belt reminder for
one ignition cycle, the driver must buckle
and unbuckle the seat belt within 3
seconds with the ignition switched on.
Shift indicator
It will illuminate to inform you
that shifting to a higher gear
may give better fuel economy
and lower CO2 emissions. It will not
illuminate during periods of high
acceleration, braking or when the clutch
pedal is pressed.
Instruments
Stability control (DSC)
indicator
driving, this indicates a malfunction.
Have the system checked by a properly
trained technician immediately.
If you switch DSC off, the warning lamp
will come on. The lamp will go out when
you switch the system back on or when
you switch the ignition off.
AUDIBLE WARNINGS AND
INDICATORS
Frost
Even if the temperature rises to
above +4ºC there is no guarantee
that the road is free of hazards caused
by inclement weather.
A warning chime will sound in the
following conditions:
• +4ºC or lower: frost warning
• 0ºC or lower: danger of icy roads
Lights on
A warning chime will sound if the driver's
door is opened with the exterior lights
switched on and the ignition switched
off.
Low fuel
A warning chime will sound at the
following ranges: 80 km, 40 km, 20 km,
0 km.
