USB keyboard immediately.
Keyboards can also be set up through the ThinkPad Tablet Dock's USB connector and Lenovo
offers both a ThinkPad USB Keyboard with Trackpoint
and mouse combo that can connect through this port. To purchase these options, go to
http://www.lenovo.com/accessories/services/index.html.
For information about using a ThinkPad Tablet Keyboard Folio Case option, see "Using the ThinkPad Tablet
Keyboard Folio Case" on page 56.
You also can connect a USB mouse to the tablet. As soon as you connect a USB mouse to the tablet, a
pointer is displayed on the tablet screen indicating that the mouse is activated and ready for use.

Using HDMI devices

Your tablet has a mini HDMI connector that you can use to connect an external display for video output. To
locate the mini HDMI connector, see "Tablet layout" on page 1.
To use an external display for video output, you have to enable the Attached display function first by
doing the following:
1. From the main Home screen, touch the Android Settings icon
applications icon
2. Touch Screen ➙ Attached display to enable it. When enabled, a green check is displayed in the
check box.
When you connect an external display to your tablet through the HDMI connector, your tablet screen image
is automatically mirrored on the external display at the highest resolution that the device supports.
If you attach an external display while you are playing a video, the video output is displayed on the external
display in a full-screen landscape mode, but the video playback controls are displayed on your tablet.
To disable the image output on the attached display, disconnect the external display from your tablet.
