Installing a memory module Your computer has four slots for installing DDR3 DIMMs (double data rate 3 dual inline memory modules) that provide up to a maximum of 8.0 GB of system memory.

You can add drives to your computer to increase storage capacity and to enable your computer to read other types of media.
