Teel Engine Driven High ®
Pressure Centrifugal Pump
Description
Teel portable, engine driven, self-priming pump Model Number 4RJ45, is used for
high pressure wash-downs, firefighting, pressure boosting, water transfer and
irrigation. Pump body is heavy duty aluminum. 5 HP Tecumseh engine provides
high suction lift, pressures to 76 psi, a capacity of 85 GPM, and multiple discharges
for running several lines at one time.
Unpacking and Inspection
Handle with care. Check items received
against packing list to be sure that all
equipment has been received. Inspect
for shipping damage. If found, file
claim with carrier immediately.

Electrical Safety
Do not allow pump or any system com-
ponent to freeze. To do so will void
warranty.
Pump water only with this pump.
Periodically inspect pump and system
components.
Wear safety glasses at all times when
working on pumps.
Keep work area clean, uncluttered,
and properly lighted; store properly all
unused tools and equipment.
Keep visitors at a safe distance from
the work areas.
Pump body may
explode if used as
a booster pump unless relief valve
capable of passing full pump flow at 75
psi is installed.
IMPORTANT: For best possible
performance and continuous,
satisfactory operation, read these
instructions before installing your new
pump. Should service be required, this
manual can be a valuable guide, it
should be kept near the installation for
ready reference.

catch hands, feet,
or clothing. Stay clear of equipment
and keep shields in place while pump is
running. Stop motor or engine before
servicing pump. Read owner's manual
