Teel Submersible Effluent and ®
Sewage/Solids Handling Pumps
Description
Teel submersible effluent pumps, Model Numbers 4RK62A and 4RK63A, and
sewage/solids handling pumps, Model Numbers 4RK45A, 4RK46A, 4RK47A, 4RK48A
and 4RK49A are used for sewage, effluent and wastewater removal, sump drainage,
liquid transfer systems, circulation, dewatering, and flood control. Pump motors are
rated for continuous duty** and range from 230V single phase with automatic
thermal reset to 230/460V three phase. 60 hertz, oil filled, 1 HP, 1
deliver from 38 to 85 feet of head with capacities ranging from 20 to 250 GPM.
Volute and semi-open impeller are close grained cast iron. Dual shaft seal,
extended pump out vanes and seal plate barrier provide greater seal protection.
Effluent pumps have 3/4" spherical solids handling capability. Sewage/solids
handling pumps handle 2" spherical solids. Stainless steel hardware for easy
disassembly after extended use. All pumps are manually operated except Model
4RK62A, which has an automatic float switch. Switch ON setting is 18
OFF setting is 9 1 ⁄ ".

** For continuous duty, fully submerge in liquid at maximum 105° F (41° C).
Maximum temperature 130° F (69° C) for intermittent duty.
Unpacking and Inspection
Handle with care. Check items received against packing list to be sure that all
equipment has been received. Inspect for shipping damage. If found, file claim
with carrier immediately.
