Using the Analyze/charge Pocket Intended Use The LXE HX2 Multi-Charger is designed to simultaneously charge up to six standard HX2 Rechargeable Lithium Ion Battery Packs in less than four hours, depending upon battery pack temperature and conditions. The Extended battery packs require less than eight hours. -

HX2 Rechargeable Lithium Ion Battery Pack Each standard battery pack has one side alignment rib wider than the other to ensure the battery pack is inserted in the battery charging pocket easily. This design ensures the battery charging contacts line up with the charger contacts in each charging pocket. The extended battery’s ribs are the same on each side. -

Charging a Battery Orienting and Inserting the Battery Pack Caution! It is important that battery packs are inserted into the charging/analyzing pocket correctly. Inserting the battery incorrectly could result in damage to the battery pack or the charger/analyzer. When preparing the battery pack for insertion into an HX2 multi-charger pocket, hold the battery with the HX2 cable connect interface up and the battery charging contacts in line with the charging contacts in the charging pocket. -

The LED located at the base of each pocket communicates the status of the charge operation.
