Rubbing of rotating parts
Normal behaviour, not a malfunction
Low-pressure A minimal and uniform wear at the circumference of the rotor components
or caused by slight local rubbing against adjacent components is permitted. This
high-pressure causes the compressor or turbine blades to be somewhat shortened. To pre-
stage vent significant loss of efficiency, specific tolerances must be fulfilled.
