Acceptance test (in case of industrial/public use):
Before first use and after any significant modifications, the installation (including the electrical
connections) must be checked by a specialist.
A yearly check by a technical expert is necessary.
At least every four years, a quality inspection must be carried out by a technical expert.
Mount the effect light on the ceiling, a wall or a suitable crossbeam.
Secure the device with fastenings that are compatible with the fastening surface and suitable for carrying the
weight of the light effect device.
Secure the installation with an additional suitable safety restraint cable or net. The safety restraint cable or net
must be able to support the light effect device in the event of a fault in the main support system. There is a stable
eyelet on the device for suspending a safety rope.
Make sure that the deflection mirror (1) of the light effect can move freely; it may not hit onto anything or be
blocked.

Installing/changing the illuminant

Before installing/replacing the illuminant, always disconnect the device from its power supply
(pull the mains plug out of the socket!).
Illuminants which are switched on become very hot!. To avoid burning, allow the illuminant to
cool down for at least 45 minutes before you replace it!
Never use illuminants with a greater output than stated in the technical data as the effect
beamer could be overloaded. This can lead to fire, shorts or other risks for the user.
An illuminant must be replaced if it is damaged or has been deformed due to heating.
Never touch the illuminant with bare hands. The grease on your skin significantly reduces the
service life of the illuminant. Always wear gloves or use a suitable rag to protect the illuminant
and your hands.
Remove the two Phillip screws of the installation plate on the rear of the light effect.
Carefully pull the installation plate out of the beamer head.
Pull the defective illuminant out of the socket and insert a new illuminant.
Carefully slide the installation base into the beamer head and reattach it with the two Phillips screws.
Adjust the illuminant position with the 3 hexagon socket screws A, B and C (see „Maintenance/adjusting the
illuminant" further down in this manual).
To achieve an optimum performance, you should adjust the illuminant position after each change of the
illuminant.
