    DOC-USR-0217-02 GENERAL DESCRIPTION The Z3-LEO-1X is a H.265/HEVC, H.264 and MJPEG video encoder. It is capable of accepting HD video from the camera at 60 frames per second and producing IP streams that can be sent on a standard Ethernet cable.

    Note: Some GUI images may reference the Z3Cam-4k. Functionality and interface is the same as the Z3-LEO-1x. 5.1 Connecting the KEL Cable If you have received a Z3-LEO-1X assembly, you will need to connect it to an LVDS camera such as the Figure 3 Sony FCB-EV7520A camera block.

    Note: The Z3-LEO-1X is set to DHCP by default. If no DHCP server is available on the network, a static IP address of 192.168.0.120 and a netmask of 255.255.0.0 will be assigned. The IP address can be manually entered as the URL in a browser window to access the user interface.

    This section gives step-by-step instructions on setting the Z3-LEO-1X to output and stream video using each of the output format options: UDP, RTP, RTSP and RTMP . In addition to the Z3-LEO-1X, a Windows PC with the VLC media player downloaded is required.

    The "Low Latency" position will be best for most low latency applications. When streaming UDP or TSRTP, the Z3-LEO-1X supports a low latency mode called TS Lowlat Mode. When enabled, TS Lowlat Mode sends the transport stream packets as soon as possible, instead of pacing them out evenly.

Each output stream can be set using a separate channel tab. If the CH2 tab is not present, you can create a second channel by clicking on the tab.

    System Setup tab and saving that to the preset. 8.3 Encoder ROI The Z3-LEO-1x allows for the encoding of a Region of Interest (ROI) in the captured video. This allows the encode of only the region of the video you are interested in.

    DOC-USR-0217-02 8.5 Set a Static IP Address The Z3-LEO-1X supports DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol). This is enabled by default, allowing the camera to dynamically receive an IP address at startup. The IP address that is assigned can be seen through using ZFinder. If you prefer, you can set your camera to a static IP address. If you would like to have your PC set to a static IP address, you will need to set your camera to a static IP address as well in order for it to be discoverable by ZFinder.

    (1) Run the ZFinder PC Utility on your Windows PC. The ZFinder window appears. ZFinder does a scan of the network and lists the location of all Z3 systems connected to the network. The Z3-LEO-1X appears with your manually entered IP address.
