Using your Handheld DAB Radio
Let's get started

Turn off the Alarm

1. Follow the steps for setting an Alarm but Select to turn Alarm 1 or 2 off in Step 4 above.

Sleep timer

You can set your radio to turn off automatically using the sleep timer. You can choose
from Sleep off, 10, 15, 20, 30, 45, 60, 75 and 90 minutes.
In DAB or FM mode:
1. Press and hold the Menu button to enter the menu options.
2. Use the

button.
3. 'Sleep' is highlighted. Press and release the Select button.
4. Use the
or
time you would like is displayed and press and release the Select button.
5. The sleep time minutes that you have selected will be displayed in the bottom of the
display e.g.
, and will countdown until the radio switches off.
Note: To cancel the sleep time, follow the steps to set the sleep time but stop when
'Sleep off' is displayed and press and release the Select button.

Display backlight

You can adjust the display backlight timeout as well as the brightness for the 'On' or 'Dim'
level.
Backlight options available are: Permanently On, 10, 20, 30, 45, 60, 90, 120, and 180
seconds.
Brightness options available are: High, Medium and Low.
Note: A ' ' will be displayed to the right of the current setting.
