Warning: Never repair the alarm. If you do, you will lose your
warranty claims. If the smoke alarm stops functioning within
the warranty period, place the smoke alarm in its packaging.
Return the appliance to the retailer from whom you purchased
the product.
If the smoke alarm stops working after the warranty period,
have the appliance repaired or replaced by an electrician.

Fire drills

If the alarm sounds when it is not being tested, it has detected
the development of smoke, full attention and swift action is
therefore required. To be prepared for such situations, devise
an escape plan with your family. Include all family members
and carry out regular exercises.
Explain to your family members what is important, if an
alarm is triggered.
Deine two exits for every room as well as an escape route
leading outside.
Teach all family members to touch the door and to use an
alternative exit if the door is hot, a hot door should not be
opened under any circumstances.
