4.1 Machine

Assembly at the lathe

DANGER!
Electric shock is life-threatening!
There is a danger to life when you get in contact with
voltaged components. Electrical components which
are on can conduct uncontrolled movements and
cause severest injuries.
- Disconnect the mains plug before you start any
works on the machine.
DANGER!
The Copy device may only be used with the lathe
DB 900 or DB 1100.

To install the Copy device on the lathe, proceed as
follows:
Step 1: Attach the Copy device with the clamping plates
(11, Fig. 1) to the machine bed (Fig. 2), align and
clamp in parallel.
Step 2: Due to the distance between the turntable and
the axis of rotation, the diameter to be turned can
be roughly adjusted.
Step 3: Adjust the total length of the workpiece over the
distance between the two outer holders (1, Fig.
2). To do this, loosen the rear clamping plate
(10) and the clamping screw on the guide rod to
move the holder.
