Their HEPA (High Efficiency Particulate Air) filter system retains hazardous dust and particles and is rated 99.97% efficient at 0.3 microns. While the VAC-2-HEPA can be used for both wet and dry pickup, the VAC-2D-HEPA and EV-30H can only be used for dry pickup applications. -
Page 4: Disposal Of Hazardous Material
Remove the lid from the tank. Then remove the HEPA filter. VAC-2-HEPA and EV-30H – Place a fully opened plastic bag in the bottom of the tank. -
Page 5: Removing Contaminated Filters And Tank Cleaning
Do not remove, substitute, bypass or change in any way the filters used in the Goodway HEPA Vacuums. • Use only Goodway filters – use of other filters will void the warranty and may not provide proper filtration. • Change the paper collection bag when full. -

NOTE: For replacement of the liner and filters follow the procedures listed under “DRY PICKUP”. OPERATION – WET PICK-UP – VAC-2-HEPA ONLY TANK/FILTER SETUP NOTE: Always wear gloves and an approved respirator when handling used filters. - Page 7 Reverse the above procedures to replace the brush assembly. Install new brush assemblies when the carbon brush is worn down to 1/2" (13mm). CHANGING THE HEPA FILTER: VAC-2-HEPA and VAC-2D-HEPA NOTE: Always wear gloves and an approved respirator when handling used filters.

Secure the plastic bag marking it “HAZARDOUS MATERIALS” or as appropriate. Install a new collection bag and HEPA filter, ensuring that the gasket makes proper contact all the way around the lip of the tank. Re-install the vacuum head.
