Charging the vacuum cleaner

Depending on its charge status, it can take up
to four hours to charge the rechargeable battery.
The indicator lamp lights up red continuously
when the battery is completely flat. The
intelligent electronic charging system prepares
the rechargeable battery for the charging
process. The active charging process begins
as soon as the indicator lamp on the vacuum
cleaner flashes green. When the indicator
lamp lights up green continuously, the battery
is fully charged and the vacuum cleaner is
ready for use.
To ensure a long service life for the rechargeable
battery, the vacuum cleaner should only be
used when disconnected from the mains. The
power uptake by the vacuum cleaner in
standby mode is less than 2 watts.

Please note:
There is a fault in the rechargeable battery
unit if the indicator lamp flashes red. Should
this occur, disconnect the vacuum cleaner
from the mains immediately. Have the vacuum
cleaner checked by the after-sales service.

To store or transport the vacuum cleaner, use
the storage aid on the underside of the vacuum
cleaner.
Stand the vacuum cleaner up on its end. Slide
the hook on the floor tool into the groove on
the underside of the appliance.

Open the lid by moving the locking lever in
the direction of the arrow.

a) Seal the dust bag by pulling the sealing strip
and then remove it.
b) Slide the new dust bag into the holder to the
stop.

Caution: the lid only closes with a dust bag
inserted.

If you have used the vacuum cleaner for fine
dust particles (such as plaster or cement),
replace the microfilter if necessary.
Replacing the micro-hygiene filter
This should be replaced with every replacement
filter pack.

Open the lid.
Pull out the filter holder and open it.
Dispose of the micro-hygiene filter and fit a
new micro-hygiene filter.
Slide the filter holder back into the vacuum
cleaner and close the lid
Cleaning the motor protection filter
The motor protection filter should be cleaned
regularly by knocking out the dirt and rinsing.

Open the dust bag compartment lid (see
Figure 17).
Pull out the motor protection filter in the
direction of the arrow.
Clean the motor protection filter by tapping it.
If it is very dirty, the motor protection filter
should be rinsed.
The filter must then be left to dry for at least
24 hours.
After cleaning, slide the motor protection filter
into the vacuum cleaner and close the dust
bag compartment lid.
Care
The vacuum cleaner must be switched off and
disconnected from the mains before it is
cleaned.
The vacuum cleaner and plastic accessories
can be cleaned with a commercial plastics
cleaner.
!
Do not use a scourer, glass-cleaning agent or
multipurpose cleaning product.
Do not immerse the vacuum cleaner in water.
The dust compartment can, if necessary, be
cleaned with a second vacuum cleaner or
simply wiped with a dry cloth or a duster.
