Installing on a wall or ceiling

Pre-installation (cable preparation)

Strip the cable insulation as shown in the figure and connect the cables.
7-8 mm
Compatible cable: AWG12 (max. 3.5 sq)
NOTE
• Do not use solder to plate stranded wires, as this may cause the wires to break.
• Run the speaker cables to the installation area before installing the speaker.

Attaching the mounting bracket to the wall or ceiling

Determine the speaker installation location.

Refer to the figure below and determine where the mounting
bracket will be installed and where the cables will be fed.

If you want to add space between the wall and the speaker,
attach spacers to the mounting bracket.
When securing at 4 points

Attach the mounting bracket to the wall or ceiling.
The 4 slots are for M6 screws, and the center hole's diameter is
11 mm.

Feed the cables from the wall or ceiling.

Attaching the safety wire

Attach the safety wire to the wall or ceiling.
CAUTION
• Use the included safety wire.
• Attach safety wire high enough so that there is not too much
slack in the wire.
• If the included safety wire is not long enough, consider the
weight of the speaker and the installation conditions, and pro-
cure an appropriate safety wire.
